I model any thing that ran through Buffalo in the late 60's , makes for some interesting if not impractical sights.I don't  believe TH&B had any track rights into St.Marys, Pa. but you will see their Geeps hauling a coal drag out of my coal mine there. Also model the D&H, NYC, WAG and ERIE, the latter in particular because i grew up on the line between Buffalo and Punxatawnee.I have been building a lot of WAG rolling stock , but they look rather generic with no decals( I cant find a source and my skills in that direction are somewhat limited.

Main line of the Buffalo Rochester & Pittsburgh Railway north of Puxsutawney to Falls Creek prototype-freelanced in the 50's. I've been collecting equipment and information for a couple years and hope to start construction by summer.

(T. C. SHRED - I had custom BR&P decals made by Rail Graghics. They did the artwork for me and they came out Beautiful.)

I like scratch building and kit bashing. I model the Jersey Central Lines, Baltimore and Ohio and Reading Company. I have a special interest in the iron mine railroads in northern New Jersy. I like "what if" models of trains that never existed but might have if the railroad continued into the '70s and '80s. The photos that follow are examples of my work.

Hi All, well I'm doing a freelance version of a local shortline the  Cape Breton & Central Nova Scotia Railroad, CB&CNS for short and CBNS even shorter. All diesel locos are kitbashed and I have 8 of them finished, 6 MLW C630M's, 1 GP18 and 1 MLW RS18 .

NICE WORK, TAB!

Really like that early CNJ equipment.

One of my goals is to some day have a model of one of the 810-814 pacifics.

Hey andy_anthracite…Thanks for the compliment. I’m also trying to come up with a start on the CNJ Pacific. There is a lot of material out there that is close but the wide fire box is a problem. I would like to build models of the CNJ’s “Bullet”, “Queen of the Valley” and “Harrisburg Special”. The passenger cars are available but the engine is holding me back…TAB

I do mostly modern stuff, mostly of my favorite trains. I'm in college now and don't have much money to spare for trains, nor do I have time or a layout to run them. However, I have a nice BNSF intermodal train, ZWSPLAC, of course!   Also, I  have recently been getting some CSX stuff, to represent some of the trains I was around when I grew up in Ohio. I'm working on a unit steel train, and maybe a mixed freight of sorts with blocks of steel, autoracks, and Hi-Cubes! I also, have some SP stuff, and intend to make a model of a typical SP intermodal train as I saw them many years ago!

I model the CNJ 1950 to 1976.

My current layout is an eight by ten set in Pennsylvania coal country.  It is mostly a switching layout and I run Camelbacks, RS-3's and Baby Trainmasters.  No passenger trains because of the tight radius.

My dream layout is "The Aldene Plan."  There will be a "Y" shaped penninsula going into three walls.  One end of the penninsula will be the mainline from Cranford to Elizabeth Port.  The other end of the Y will be the Lehigh Valley from Cranford to Newark Penn.  I will run push-pulls and RDC's along with freights.  I should get the basement room in a couple of years.

I am adding the short line Chestnut Ridge Railway to my current layout.  The CHR is a 6 and a half mile railroad and serves remains of the NJ Zinc Co. and a few other customers. I am currently planning the addition.  I plan on painting either CHR Alco S2 #11 or 21.
