Here is a hard to find Gilbert Sinclair #126 tank car. This car was cataloged and sold for 4 years 1946 to 1950. This car and the GULF #125 tank cars were Gilberts first plastic tank cars. Though the gulf 125 has a lower number, this 126 is much harder to find.

Here are a pair of Lionel Air Force Box cars. They were rocket firing cars. Both had their launching mechanism, and roof door hinges broken. I removed the bad parts and glued the roof door closed. Now they are box cars.

*I have 6 cars made by Tyco/Mantua that I've not posted yet. I'll do the 6 together in a row. They are the companies first use of plastic in a ho reefer by them. The sides are of sheet metal, embossed the door and rivet details. they have tabs that slide in and through prepared holes in the plastic side. All you do is bend them over, and place on the ladders. A well-designed kit.
*** I do invite anyone out there to comment on these, and any other posts made in this forum!
*  I  hope someone still likes seeing all these old HO cars. I an 71 and they still amaze me.

I had a plastic Baby Ruth when I was a kid, but I don't recall the manufacturer. I always thought the Pluto Water logo was cool, but I never it on a car.

Henry; So many companies made a Baby Ruth reefer car. You could have in the past also gotten decals from a choice of 5 or 6 companies.
Henry I added a photo of the TYCO Baby Ruth car. NADX 5342. This car has a plastic body and a plastic floor.

This is another Mantua Baby Ruth Reefer. Plastic body, cast metal frame. NADX 6269.
This is a third different Recording number. NADX 5342, NADX 6256, NADX 6269. All three have different art work. I am sure the Mantua made a fourth car back in the 1940's where their cars were all metal with embossed paper sides. Mantua catalog number was 9433. I don't know what the recording number was.

** Here is a depressed center 70' heavyweight flat car with crated machinery load. This is an Austrian car made by Kleinbahn, with 6 wheel trucks, that I need to replace couplers on. A definite keeper I found at a recent train show.
