Two recent arrivals follow a longtime staple of this operation, the 3802.

BAYL 511 works the White Oak Turn in Eufaula, AL passing by Dixon Lumber, a rail served customer shipping out dimensional lumber loads on centerbeam flats.

LRWN 1544, GSWR 2059, BAYL 2060, and CCKY 2050 tied down in Dawson. One year ago none of these units were on the property, although 2059 was the 3801 at that time. 1544, along with its sister unit 1542, recently returned from the CCH, swapped for a set of GP15T's in a rare move over the O-Line between Americus and Columbus.

CCH power in Columbus, GA. The 2015 is the former BL 509, the unit behind it is one of the ex AN Railway GP15T's in BAYL paint, and the CCH 3349 is a SD40-2, likely one of the former BN units.

BL 2060, formerly the Luxapalilla Valley #2885 high hood, paired up with the GSWR 2059, formerly the GSWR 3801. Both of these units were upgraded to GP38-3 specs.

Never a dull moment, Matt. Although the power crunch is seemingly over and daily motive power swaps are far less frequent.

Two of the former AN Railway GP15T's in service on the CCH, #1597 and 1599.

I caught up with the Buffalo & Pittsburgh recently. The weather was perfect for capturing the action.

The B&P's local crosses the former South Buffalo bridge, while a Buffalo Southern local passes underneath it.

The B&P local was powered by a pair of SW1500s. Again, the train is on the old SB. The consist is crossing over the former B&O 4th Sub, which is also B&P now.

The B&P snakes it way through Buffalo Creek Junction. The B&P refers to their portion of the area as Buffalo Creek Yard.

This is the tail end of the local

The B&P local wokrs the yard.

Some of the freight cars being shuffled were dropped off by Norfolk Southern shortly before the B&P local arrived.

All photos in this post were taken by me Friday 4/26/2013. In addition to the fun I had with the B&P, I also captured 4 other RRs at Buffalo Creek Junction... which i will share as time permits.

The newest repaint from the CIRR shops, seen here on the Bay Line in Panama City, formerly GSWR 2880. This unit had its high nose chopped, and now fits right in with its other GP38-3 sisters.
These are the ones I know the history of.......
GSWR 2880 - AN 2058
LUX 2885 - BAYL 2060
GSWR 3801 - GSWR 2059
