The MDDE T6s are all gone, sadly. The Delaware Coast Line runs an EX-MDDE unit, #19. Picture
I believe some also ended up at the Arkansas and Missouri.

Whereis the DCLR T6 at? How often does it run? I think I recall it runs on the Lewes, DE line but I am not at all familiar with that line.

Its stored and operated out of Georgetown, Delaware. The last time I was there (Nearly a year ago mind you), it was the main locomotive on the Lewes line. They runs as needed. They also use the caboose as the idler car, which is kinda neat to see in this day and age.

I just realized something, not that we don't want to answer you questions, it's just that this should be discussed in the "Delaware Coast Line Railroad" topic. Please move it there and I will be more then overjoyed to answer your questions. Thanks.

I know this goes back a week or so, but on June 27, I photographed a southbound NS unit grain train (so it appeared) passing through Bridgeville, DE. Is this something that goes to MDDE? What would the NS symbol be?

Which direction was it headed? North or South? It might have been headed to the NS/MDDE interchange in either Seaford, Townsend, or Frankford. But at the same time, they were probably headed to the Delmar yard.

It was heading south. I shot it coming past what I assume to be a block limit sign called NYLON.

OK, it was probably heading down to the Seaford yard. Some cars might have been going to the NS/MDDE interchange and the others were going to Delmar.

And this is just a guess, but NYLON might be a company the railroad delivers/exports from. Again, though, this is just a guess.

The train might have been heading for the Allen's Feed Mill just north of Seaford. They have a long lop track that holds at least 100 cars for unloading.
