This video of a cab ride is unusual in many ways. The locomotives are EMD model GT26C each producing 3000hp. They were built by the local licensee at Roseworthy in South Australia. Only 10 units were built.

The 4 locos are working a heavy grain train from about sea level to 700ft over a distance of 20 miles all in the Sydney suburban area. There are several long grades of 2.5%, and a lot of curves. The working is over the Main North line which is very busy with 4 suburban and 2 inter-urban passenger services an hour in each direction plus many freights interspersed. There are many glimpses of these trains. I trust that you find it interesting.
