I stopped by the old Green Ridge yards to see what was going on and snapped a few picks. The only use it gets is when a Carbondale bound D&L freight passes through. Still alot of neat artifacts left over. Enjoy.
-this pick is looking towards Dickson City. Neat that the old light tower is still standing.

Track leading to old D&H freight houses and businesses near Scranton Prep school. By the look of the rust on the rail, hasnt been used in a few years.

Looking towards the Green Ridge yard. I guess the cars parked there arent to worried about a train, judging by the condition of the tracks, either would I!

There is also no "groove" in the vegetation, so I agree with you about the rail not being used in a few years.

Interesting. I haven't been in that neck of the woods in a long time. Thanks for the update.
