This location on my schematics indicate this was a water tank setup. It borders a property so it was hard to determine.

We pass over this double tracked bridge. This one was constructed at two different times as the right side is older.

The date of the older span is seen here. The other span the date is under the bridge and is 1929.

These remains are unknown. Small concrete pads, maybe a relay box?

Under the viaduct, ties are seen still in place.

This view shows where the signals once stood in relation to the viaduct. (this is on the west side of the viaduct) The concrete bases of the signals are seen here.

Continuing on this is a puzzling find. A wooden box with the remains of a single track running on top. I don't know what this is. Anyone?

Next to it is this pile of rubble that might have been a building.

On the way back, near where I think were the water tanks, we spotted this on the opposite side. The railbed is above this and near this is another concrete pad.

Mike, hard to say without actually seeing more of it,but this pit could have been a drop pit where hoppers would have dumped coal to feed a coaling tower for steam locomotives,or just a coal or gravel dump pit for some online supplier....

Even given this time of year, its hard to get good shots because of the growth. Never mind once it greens up again!

Moving along, we flip back to three years ago. The growth is really bad in this area and very little was seen.
