The rear footers. This one is similar to the one seen in Burnwood except there is no valve house.

Signal bases were next to it as well as another one of those locked boxes.

We noticed that the right side of the railbed was dozed years ago as no ties were seen except over the embankment.

Another dip in the railbed. I found a long culvert at the "bottom" it is still intact.

This is mile post A146-09 toppled over. The plotted GPS data is the only way I was able to find this one. The numbers were not readable.

We are now in Melrose. Along this dirt road the ties are still in place here.

One of the more interesting culverts showing how high the railbed is bermed up.

Moving along these pictures also go back to 2006. The railbed is narrow and very few remains were seen.

What we did find was several areas of erosion.

Now in Stevens Point, after crossing the road we saw these remains but we don't know what they are. This section is planned for a re-visit. There were three mile posts not found back in 2006. I am hoping my GPS data will help here. I also want to see if any more erosion has taken place.

The railbed crosses the creek here but the bridge is missing. The abutments are still present.
