Anyway continuing past the train station these are also pictures from a few days ago, shortly after the station is this signal base.

A short distance away I spotted this. This is also a mystery but it seems to have something to do with the interlocking circuits and signal circuits ?? The front left post has a ground rod next to it.

This should be where the next mile post is, but it is missing. We saw signs that the railbed was worked on years ago as all the ties are over the embankment.

Flipping back to a few days ago, this is just before the Bucks Falls Trestle over Little Starucca Creek. The the right would be where mile post 149 should be but it was not found. The trestle is long gone but the pads are still seen here.

SOme of the supports are pure concrete and smaller. Some cables were seen in the area but nothing of the trestle itself.

This pipe could indicate they pumped water out of here and the area below the falls was damned up at one time.
