First Encounter with a Personal Favorite

Spent the weekend in Chicago a couple weeks ago.  I've always loved F40's and have wished that I would have been able to see them leading Amtrak trains.  I've been alive long enough to be able to do that, but not always interested in driving to locations to see them, something I wish I would have done now that they are all gone.
 
Anyway, I've been to Chicago four times now, but never stayed in the suburbs.  I always stayed in downtown and always had limited time, so I never really got to check out Metra.  Well, I was able to this time and finally got to see some F40's in person.  Was thoroughly pleased!
 
Here's a couple photos from Elmhurst.
