In its continued streamlining  in 2015 CSXT has officially closed the shops at both Erwin, TN and Corbin, KY.

These closings are part of the continuing trend for 2015 at CSXT. The railroad has seen continued growth financially recording record earnings in Q3 and a lot has been at the expense of the employees. Train crew layoffs through out the system, management reductions as well across the system and now the for mentioned shops.  "More with Less" will continue to be the business model in America.

As announced a couple of weeks ago, the CSX Huntington Division is now history as an administrative district. The huge Huntington territory is to absorbed by five other bordering divisions....no doubt, this will only be the start of the negative news---both CSX and NS--- coming from Appalachia during 2016.

Thats just the part of what is going to be a continued reduction in work force.

Around the shops news at NS is another 2000 jobs in Q1. And  big push with PTC to get 1 man crews for all main line trains with in 10yrs.

Businesses dont want employees, and our government wants people to be dependent. Its a deadly match made in heaven
