U835-21 waits at Dawson, MD on track #1 while the crew restores the switch at #21 st. Bridge Road and boards a taxi to bring them east to rejoin the train - 25 February 2015

CSX didn't waste anytime getting the CPLs off the property. This morning two trucks took a pile of them to the scrap yard. TPart of the trailer load can be seen between the scale house and the boom truck.

A couple of us called the scrap yard and offered to purchase the signals. The story was the same...... NO.... they don't resell product out of the yard........  07 March 2015

Sad about the CPLs, the B&O used to send smaller obsolete materials to the B&O Museum and sell it off.  Of course with the legal environment CSXT would probably be responsible it someone bought a CPL and got hurt.
 
Q317-02 CSXT 276 (4 units 105 cars) cleared off the OR Sub at Huntington around 1300 today.  Q316-06 CSXT 7910 & 3136 (2 units 67 cars) came on the OR a short time later.  No Q316 out yesterday due to the heavy rain/snow Wednesday/Thursday.  Have not heard if there will be a Q316-07 or just skip to 08 tomorrow.

CSXT #7910 & #3136 came thru Keyser, WV this afternoon 03/09/2015 with train Q314-06, at least that was what dispatcher "BB" was calling him.........

A first for me in a long time, a full day of railfanning on the CSX Fitzgerald Sub. CSX has leased FEC power and one of the first shots of the day with a brand new zoom lens yields a six pack of power returning empty hoppers northbound caught here at North Ross Siding in Cordele, GA. Three FEC units on the lead, more to follow soon.

BB may have confused the symbol or power may have gotten switched to a Q314.  They did run a Q316-07 later on Saturday with 5326 as leader.  They met Q317-03 7655 at Lakin (MP BN164).  E728-01 46 also came east late on Saturday.  Sunday had Q316-08 5420 (2 units 76 cars) and Q317-04 206 on the OR. Today's lineup was Q317-05 877 west, Q316-09 7776 east, and T840-09 934 east.  
 
Do the Q314/Q315 operate only between Cumberland and Grafton or do they ever run west to/from Brooklyn Junction or Parkersburg?

My understanding is that Q314/Q315 run only between Grafton and Cumberland. Typically Q315 is all loaded Sand Cars going west. They typically run 3 times a week. The Q314 on the 9th. was a heavy mix of freight cars...
