E704 pulls away from the crossing in Dawson, MD after having to stop and flag it. It appeared that the #656 had a malfunctioning horn and was required to stop and flag all crossing until they reached West Keyser and was able to find a west facing Shuttle Engine to make their new leader - 19 February 2015

Q317-17 at Dawson, MD... only 20 miles from Cumberland and the crew has already been on duty 10 hours. Once in Keyser, WV they will drop the inbound sting of cars, afterwards the crew will go off duty and take a taxi back to Cumberland, MD - 19 February 2015

Tim - Lodge Members - Thought I would "fun" you with that one! There was another oddity up, too, but couldn't locate it right away. In it, we were getting three red lamps. In it, the "Stop" indication lit. Then, too, in the "Restrictive" (display on the angle), one red also displayed. Thought that indication usually in amber. Why it displayed at the same time? Was that in a Rule change which escaped my notice? <G> Removal of the CPL System, and one gets the belief this isn't the B & O any more? .............................Vern..............................

Typically Q316 will make it's pickup in West Keyser off the Freight Track. Today the outbounds cars are late arriving so the trainmaster has the power from Q316 pull forward on track#2 to allow the B770 to come in behind them and place the outbound cars on the Q train - 20 February 2015
