Q025-21 (to the right) clears the Cordele interlocking while the HOG excursion train (at left) waits for its #6 light eastbound.

Northbound CSX L220? clears the Cordele north siding signal.
Anyone have confirmation on this symbol?

Caught CSX playing with some new toys and some fer'n goodies here last weekend. This as both 3172 and the 3173 were both seen leading westbound empty trains through here on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, the 3172 led empty train T426 west toward Russell, Kentucky.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAo4On3ljIQ

The next day, 3173 led an E524 towards Saint Albans and the Coal River Subdivision.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUBGmQI_oxs

Now it's time to move on to the fern'n goodies that have been popping up on things other than the oil trains.
The previous Sunday brought about G862 and that NS Dash 9 as it was making the run east towards RVA.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0i9SgtkiGI

Fast forward to Friday just a few minutes after 3172 passed by leading T426. BNSF 9270 is seen leading G888-18 east for Hinton.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hA8zlJg1FTc

Last one that I have seen so far was on Sunday as BNSF 9942 leads a loaded coal train westbound towards Saint Albans, WV to be picked up by another crew.

Just for good measure, here's K080 from last week as well.

Someone down at Russell must have bumped their head or something! It's been a long, long, long time since we've seen this much power here.

Good stuff guys, keep them coming. I saw 1 of CSX's 25 GP15Ts Ex-Conrail GP15-1s in Baltimore, MD on 2/25/14. While being under I-95 did not help with the lighting, it did keep us out of the snow.

That is actually an ex-Conrail GP15-1, not a GP15T like the Chessie had bought for the C&O. Note the absence of the dynamic brake grid and blisters at the top of the long hood. Meanwhile, we had this come through on Friday afternoon. The 676 in the "Boxcar Logo" brings an eastbound grain train through town heading for Clifton Forge.

Right you are, and thanks for the correction. That is what I get for not looking it up. Nice catch on the #676, but I still like the original paint these had.

This one's the first I've seen (sorry for the quality, was shooting from my car).

Shot this down at Kenova on Saturday. CSXT 4841 leads U353 west as it passes under the NS mainline after coming out of K.R.T. at Ceredo.

Shot this just a few minutes after the ACe had went by. Former SD45 trailing on westbound coal train T426.
