With the #405 sitting parked, the signal at High Rock remained lit - 24 November 2014

Even with no train, still captures the feel of the B&O.

Got some track side time today and found CSX train K080-07 eastbound at the west end of "Toppings" at CA35 on the Peninsula Sub. NS #9865 leads NS #9644, both C44-9Ws, at 1340Hrs.

I apologize to anyone for having to dig thru the "mountain" of photos I have posted from the CSX Mountain Sub. I believe I have removed all of my photos from this thread to make it easier for folks to see the other areas that CSX serves.

Again I apologize for the over abundance of material I posted this year, it will not happen again!

Don't fret! Some of us are old time B & O crazies! Can't get enough of it!

Most distressing to report? Long haul trucking friend has hauled shipments of new signal parts and hardware onto former B & O sites.
It replacing the old CPL system, just for what reason?

B & O thinking of 1935, IMHO, was as good as it could get!

I hope you don't think I have a problem with your posts! I have enjoyed every one of them.  My comment was about it being a post from October.

Tim-

You have absolutely nothing to apologize for. This thread is for anywhere on CSX including the Mountain Sub and there are no quantity limits here for a specific location.

I am thoroughly enjoying them and would venture to say others are, too, especially because so few photos are taken there compared to other regions of the CSX network. What is so nice is that your efforts have captured what little B&O flavor remains. So having said that......keep 'em coming!

It was a foggy Christmas Eve as the power from L038 (Jacksonville-Charlotte) enters the Pinoca Yard lead to tie down. The crew had just yarded the inbound train and a PTI driver was waiting to shuttle them home for Christmas.
