Some luck this evening—a long manifest led by two EMD units (SD60I and SD70MAC)  crossing the PRR hi-line in Philly.

Nice shot.  I spent many coffee breaks sitting outside of the Art Museum, watching the "High Line" for traffic.

There will be an orange Maine Central Caboose, RPCX 671, traveling from Selkirk, NY to Waycross, GA departing first shift Saturday, November 30 on Q409.

If anybody could provide a detailed timetable for Q409 it would be most appreciated and / or photos of the buggy enroute to Waycross.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

#671 has been sitting at Selkirk since 0400 last Saturdy adjacent to the "Speeder Road" north of the humps.

I am concerned that she has not been "tagged"?

Thanks for your help.

Did your caboose ever make it out? I have not heard a thing except delays.

She has not shipped, yet, but has just been repositioned this morning on the Selkirk "outbound" for Q409 to Waycross - she should be moving shortly and I hope on the "hindend"!

Thank you for asking.

Two SD40-2s that I caught while out rail fanning on Monday.

First one is 8857 leading a GP38-2 and three GEs on a westbound manifest.

Second one was 8808 leading an eastbound plow extra toward Hinton.

From the photo I saw it looked fine. It was the 2nd or 3rd car from the rear.

This eastbound CSX auto rack train rolled through Mortimer Jct on the West Shore Bypass late last week, complete with an SD40-2 in the power mix.
