3 weeks, 10,000 Km, Vancouver Island to Sault Ste. Marie Ontario and return...here are some of my pics. Forgive me if I dont post blubs under them, but I think you will get the idea.

Last train I saw had pole cars from the island on it!

The first seven are the Kettle Valley Steam Railway from Summerland, BC to Trout Creek Bridge and return. We rode it Monday, June 7, 2010. Thnx for posting your great pics.

Great pics!!  Thanks for posting!  My wife and I are going to Abbottsford for a wedding at the end of July.  We are going to take a few days to get out there and a few to get back.  I hope to get some railroad pics.
 
I spent an hour photographing the engines in that dead line this Spring.  Apparently they are stored serviceable.  I hope so!

Where did you shoot the pic of the poles?  I watched an eastbound at Broadview yesterday (July 16) cut two cars just like that into the train.  The two had sat at Grenfell for a few days as well.  My pics are from the south side, eastbound.

3716 is a 2-8-0 "Consolidation" type steam locomotive.

Right. From the photos I saw I couldn't see the trailing pony, it looked as though it was part of the engine when it was actually the lead axle of the tender. The following photos were clearer in that area.
