I got a problem, my scanner went dead so I had to re fill a new one with cp rail frequencies
I live in alliston on.  very near the mile 48 detector  I was able to find most of the channels
in needed from the mile77 web site but  I am not receiving  the hot box detector any more
if you know the frequency please email me at glennhealey@hotmail.com thanks.

I'll give the advice I usually give...Canadian Trackside Guide.

Detectors broadcast on the train standby channel,  should be CP7 161.535 according to 2008 CTG

thanks for the info, that makes perfect sense to me because the engineer should be able to monitor
that with out having to switch his radio around to different channels, I am assuming at this point that
the detector thats near me is on the Fritz, its a hell of a coincidence  that it went at the same time
my scanner died, anyway I will keep listening.  thanks.
regards.
Glenn.
