here are a few photos i have recently recieved from my uncle
 
unknown location in the fraser valley. note the dual flag symbol on the middle loco

Brandon they tend to use these in the winter time to plow out yards and such, whenever they need to move a bunch of snow sideways.  When there is heavy snow and the snow fighters can't keep up they use the old wedge plows with one of these behind it in front of the unit.  I have some pics up on the Boundary sub of this process.  They generally use ballast regulators for the rock.

Hi,  
Here are 2 more CP GP38-2's at Exshaw in Alberta at the end of May 2005. They are switching the LaFarge yard. Note both have been recently repainted. Got very wet taking these on the way to Calgary Airport on way home to UK. Earlier in day had seen CP Steam 2816 pass through Canmore. Not a bad day despite the rain.
