I guess the 9021 figured if the 5615 wasn't going to do its share, then to heck with it!

I finally did it!!!  I got a pic of an SD40-2 without a pole sticking out of the hood somewhere!    Eastbound at Grenfell, SK, May 23, 2009.

6014 and 9002 just a howling eastbound at Moosomin, SK, July 4, 2009.  Seems to be all kinds of 9000's back and forth on the CP main line lately.  Sorry for the blur at the front, but she wasn't in the mood for posing, so I grabbed what I could.

Found the above two engines working their way westbound out of Assiniboia on the GWRS at Melaval, SK July 14, 2009.  GWRS power must be on "holidays".  Empty grain hoppers sounded good on sectional rail.  Probably moving at 25-30 mph.

These three engines put on a nice show for us July 23, 2009 at Mossbank.  They were northbound, so we went in to the town and staked out at the crossing on the north side of town to get the nice evening light for photos.  Lo and behold, they came up to the crossing, stopped, backed a gondola off on to a siding, hooked up again and gave us a great show of noise and smoke when they took off!!  The 6608 won the prize for smoke!

Okay boys, all at once now - PULL!!!!

August 20, 2009.  The 5990 looking really good in plain clothes at Indian Head, eastbound.  Helping on a train, waiting for a westbound.

And off they go down the track!  Not a lot of smoke or noise.  The old SD and one big GE pulled away without much effort!!

Good old 3029 in her old multimark paint job, eastbound at Indian Head Shell station, waiting for a westbound.  When I was coming to work this morning, August 23, 2009, the trains were bunched up, moving slowly, waiting for sidings and meets.

Also in multimark paint scheme, the 5922 leads eastbound at indian Head, SK.  Although I didn't get any pics, she put on a glorious smoke show gathering speed once free!!

A rather poor picture, but here she is, the 9019, humping west at Qu'Appelle, SK, with a GE in the lead and two SD40's trailing behind her.

Dress 'em up however you like, you still can't fool me!  The 6604 trying hard to look like an "original" local boy.  The road number and the "winterization" hatch is a giveaway.

Looking a bit scruffy, but leading the pack, the 5857 takes an eastbound into the siding at Grenfell.  D'ya think CP has possibly got their money's worth out of these engines?
