I spent a nice afternoon in Owego 6 days ago, with plenty of action.
NS H17 arrives with a short string of gondolas for the O&H:

As H17 shoved on the interchange track, NS 309 arrived:

Note the OLS unit on NS 309:

Speaking the Owego & Harford, they had their own shove move, as seen at Route 96:

U23B #2302 passing the O&H office (a former LV depot) at Delphine Street on the return trip:

NS 28N arrived right before I departed:

For an in-depth look at the NS and O&H action (including the going away shots), please visit my slide show:
All photos in this post and the link were taken by me Friday 6/9/2017 in Owego, NY.

Owego is a great little railroad town for fans. The O&H tracks near NS always reminded me of a model railroad.
For those of us that like stuff from yesteryear, Owego even has a Red & White supermarket still in use!

Yep, the Red & White is on North Ave. in Owego.
Resided in the immediate Owego area 1950-1960 excepting 3 years with the U.S. Army.
That is actually Delphine St. the O&H is crossing in photo No. 6.
Overall, a very nice series of photos. Thanks for posting.

Thank you both for the kind words. Photo #6's caption is also corrected now.
