Wind Farm, Anyone?

While driving down to Surrey this past Monday, I happened upon this wind farm beng transported by CN.  It was conveniently paused to let a container hotshot go past, so I took some pics.  Location is Chilliwack.

Great pics!  My wife and I saw a train carrying the blades last year.  We were far enough away that it took a while to realize what they were.  Those things are huge!

Wind farms, with lots of wind generators, are very popular in the Palm Springs/ Palm Desert area of Southern California. Lots of winds most of the time, and the wind generators produce quite a bit of electricity for the Southern California area.
