Oh I'm not saying it can't be done in general. †I'm saying that it is frustrating that it can be done, but probably will not, because things move a bit less than fast over there.

I think it's safe to say that many anticipate 60 returning to service this season, but the reality of that happening still remains a big question mark...

In short - no, it won't be running over RR Days Weekend - perhaps during the summer or in the fall if we're lucky...

I can't wait for it to happen, no matter what.

the least they can do for RR days, is to pull her out of the Aline building so we can get some decent pictures.

ok. update on railroad days. This year, 1202 will be pulling 2 coaches and 3 or 4 cabeese. the RR is trying to save money on fuel this year, not waste it.

I will be a trainman on saturday, and my dad will be one on sunday. I will probably running my model trains in the Aline building Next to my favorite engine 60.  If there are any questions, please post them here so you are prepared in two weeks.

Only one enging this year, that would explain the schudle. Will 752 still be in the yard for pictures?

Sad to see only one engine this year.

probably. 752 and 60 will be hanging around. most of the freight cars are down on the runaround, so chances of going through thorn bushes to see them arent that likely.

How about the photo freight? Will 1202 power that?

Any news on what coaches and cabooses will be on the train. I'm going to asume the coaches not being used will be kept next to the station platfrom. Also, will anyone care, if I walk down the line to see the runaround and the cars next to it. After haveing to follow the Long Island Railroad rules, I'm very good with saftry in the yard!

I dunno Anthony. If one has to be qualified to spray weeds at this place, you'll probably need to be qualified to walk about the yard.

In all seriousness, I doubt anyone will care.

Freight was good. I didnt get to see all of it because of work and I had to finish my model train layout in the Aline building. It still isnt finished. I will be there at 7:45 ish to finish setting up. I will be on the train all day tomorrow, so maybe we can chat for a couple rides. As far as switching goes, most of it will probably be done.

I WOULD JUST LIKE TO ADD THAT, NO ONE IS ALLOWED ON THE FAR SIDE OF THE YARD WHERE THE ENGINE HOUSE IS BECAUSE THE PIPE COMPANY WILL BE OVER THERE. THEY DONT LIKE IT WHEN PEOPLE TRESPASS!

REMEMBER SAFTEY FIRST!

Nice Video!

Nice meeting you!
I also met up with Joe and SGP. I had a great time this year. 1202 was very pretty. I did not go to the Bel Del though as a last second decision, so I went to New Hope since it was closer. We would not have made the Bel Del Train.

RR days was nice this year but half the size because the pipe company would not let the RR on one side of the yard, but there were speeders so that was good. A little to close together but thatís ok. I think they should have added one more caboose though. I'll post my pics in the photo thread!

If you were at the RR on sunday, 752 was pulling the regular passenger trains.

Also I have uploaded my video to youtube.

Ed K. also has one. In Eds, I was blowing the whistle in the beginning. It is similar to 60s but isnt the same. Its very close though.
