First of all it really isn't meant to do a flip. Second, it's annoying to the shop guys if you ring it really loud or just ring it too much.

Let me guess you left the camera on the tripod facing out the back of the train and left it on the whole trip. Just a guess.

If your using a digital camera you can delete the bad, old or unwanted pictures. My advise is don't try and take a lot of pictures and then post them all. Take a good amount of pictures and actually be concerned with having them come out okay and post the ones that you think should be posted.

actually i didnt! I used the tripod about halfway on friday, then just held it with my hand for the other half...on saturday i did have another memory card so that helped me get all the pictures i needed
