SGP, that's one hell of a photo! Gosh, I can't believe 60 was actually in Whipanny, and I never knew about it! Ah well...hopefully it will just run again, regaurdless of location.

I don't know...I guess it's just for extra warning...
 
The thing that I can't understand is why they have gates by the brick walkway and there are no gates by the busy road. I'm not complaining, I just think it's kind of awkward.

   Is that an Edwards car ?  With a big ole V8 under the floor tied to an axle by even bigger ole chaines. There used to be one at Mount Dora, Florida a few years back.
   Just askin. BTW, very nice pictures.

Now let me get this straight... the Deleware Turtle is handling Ringoes-Flemington Excursions now?  
 
Nice photo of #60's refurbished smokebox cover, too.  
 
And yes, I've been to that crossing with the model railroad next to it. Toad Lane I believe.

Sorry, but I honestly have no idea. All I know is that its powered by a Cheavy V8 car engine.

Yes sir, the Turtle was running between Ringoes and Flemington, at least the day I went (Sept. 3rd). Not sure how much longer its going to be doing so...

Acording to the site, The  Turtle runs from August 26 through October 1, 2006 From Ringoes, Flemington station, and unity bank (old cnj station). Good night!
