Would have loved to have heard 752 with the M5 on it; looks like it was always meant to wear that horn.

I popped down to Ringoes today as well...nothing at all was improved. †60 virtually looked the same and there was no one working on her. †I was pretty upset not to see progress after 2 months. †I saw the passenger train pull into Ringoes 1:00 departure from Flemington, a grand total of 3 people got off the train. †No weeds had been sprayed and the place looks worse than it ever has. †Sure did make me a bit sad that the BRW is run by people who have no leadership and who are not organized...a bit of leadership and actual interest wouldn't hurt fellas....

Colin,
If the place looks bad--step up and organize a yard clean up or a betterment / improvement project.

Dan,

Don't think it hasn't crossed my mind...I would love to make the place better. †In fact, one of the reasons why I took a visit there today was to ask about weed killing and how I could get qualified to spray. †I'll bring something up at the next meeting if I can get there.

Thanx,
Colin

PS- All of the needs that the railroad is desprate for are all things that the trust does not control...the trackwork, weed spraying and other MOW is all up to the managment. †It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize that there is a lack of interest in managment. †If groups of people who are interested enough could join up with the managment, that would be fantastic.

I don't think the non-weather related condition of the track has effected the speed of the train one bit, the ride does seem a bit fast sometimes.

You can say that again, I was there on Saturday and it  looked like someone worked over time moving cars around.
