I just say in general thanks to everybody working over at the BRW on 60.  I didn't know that John had been working there that often, that's an extremly good thing.  I guess we shall see 60 under steam sooner than you can think and those are the guys that we can thank for it.  Hat's off to 'em.

Well said Casey.

I was in New Hope today and stopped by Ringoes for about a half hour.  60's smokebox front is now outside just in front of the shop.  It was great to see the face of the beast.

Well the flues are in if that is a good enough reply for you. My best advice is for you to go down for your self and maybe even help a little, rather than be dependent on folks for information.

Well, when I was at the BRW, almost all her tubes were in and they were painting her tender. (I think, I smelt paint but who knows)
I was talking to one of the conductors on the train and he said 60 might be done by the fall, but Colin defiantly said she’d be out by spring 2008

No, 60 will be good when the arch tubes are in, when the hydro test is complete, and everything else is put back together again so she can RUN.

60 looks really good, I never thought WD-40 could make it looks so shinny
Colin, how did you get those well-lit pictures in the shop? They came out better than mine did.

Progress is great colin. I like the way the WD-40 worked out, neat, I used It the same exact way on my model trains.

Denver Public Library's online photo collection is great. Its called photos west and you can find photos of just about every railroad in the midwest.

Well if you like ignoring the smoke box enlargement. And don't tell me it would be removed because it won't happen.
