Three Bridges has been very busy lately with many tank cars on the sidings. Here is 1202 which is stationed here. The interchange with NS can be seen down the track behind it.  The cars are at the end of the old CNJ Flemington branch that at one time continued to Somerville.

Last one. Though I had fun, I was still dissappointed in the RR. They had so much more potential, and the BRRHT can only do so much. It's good they're still running passenger trains, but things need to get painted and repaired. Nobody wants to ride in a rusty/run-down coach, do they?

Enjoy yourselves,

I must agree with Colin and NHIWW. The RR is in shambles. The track is terrible, especially in the yard. The running equipment is disgusting. Honestly, the BEST looking piece of equipment there, are these 3 cabooses, and the PRR ballast car behind them. (See photo) Isn't there something a bit wrong with that? And 60? Let me begin by saying, she's coming along, but how can the BR&W keep her up and running? The track looks like it can barely handle the Geep.

And I was there on Saturday. I wasn't the only one. Tracks Ahead was doing a segment on the BR&W! Sorry, but they must have been really bored that day.

It's not odd, the page was last updated in the year 2003, 4 years ago! Not complicated. That was back when the "Delaware Turtle" was still in Florida but already owned by the BR&W.

I don't think that it is a good idea to be posting every photo we have of each engine when they were already posted in the Photo tread. But I will post one anyway.

Sure it might but it costs money to repaint an engine. I would like 8159 to go into a red version of what 8142 has now but only time will tell.

As for the bell. The cord looks to be at the top of the bell and not to a bell crank. Whether it's air or hand the cord should be on the crank. †Anthony good for you. The markers go on the hind end. †This train shot was taken at Flemington. The crew probably did not have time to change the markers yet after the run-around. Good catch.

I didn't touch the markers. As you said maps they probably had not changed them yet.

About the bell cord - yes and no, it is attached to the crank, but 60's crank faces downward - it doesnt stick up. It's harder to see when it's not being used, and you can't see it at all from the fireman's side (the side that this photo was taken on.)

I guess I'll give it away - that cord that I added in that's attached to the top of the bell is an air line, much like the one on top of NH&I 40. It allows the bell to be rung off of air without being swung (only the clapper moves), much like a diesel bell. #60's bell uses an air rocker, which swings the bell back and forth via an air piston (same operation as Strasburg 90).

To sum it up - I added in an extra air line that shouldn't be there.
