Replacements are coming for the Toasters and, surprisingly, the Bananas.

Get a "404 Error Content Not found" message when I try the link. But the AMTRAK plan for future equipment includes replacing all electrics except (perhaps) Acela power, as a single type will give economies of scale and simplify maintenance (once all the older types are replaced, which will take several years).

Interesting. Note that there has also been a 130 car order for Viewliner II cars let (in July), to CAF. It is to be hoped, looking at the order, that the option for another 70 cars will be exercised.  25 sleepers, 25 diners, 25 baggage/dorms and 55 baggage cars. I'd think more sleepers and maybe some coaches might be good things.
