A catenary test train ran from Philly to Harrisburg and back on Tuesday, April 11.  AEM7 944 pulled a cafe car and business car Beech Grove.

Yo Chuch,

Nice shots. Good to know that some AEM-7's are alive and well. I still like the older Amtrak paint scheme better. Much more colorful .

So this means we'll be able to see electrics ruling the Keystone Corridor again? Cool!

That must have been the first electric to go past Thorndale in many, many years.  Great find, Chooch!  The latest rumor is that once the Bananas are all through their 5-year overhaul, that they are supposed to be dedicated power for all push-pull 600-series trains.

I'm just surprised they didn't use the pantograph-equipped "Corridor Clipper" on that train.
