Tuesday's Silver Star, photographed entering Trenton station, had AEM7 919 pulling a baggage car, four Viewliner sleepers, diner, lounge, four Amfleet coaches, two more Viewliner sleepers, and Private Varnish Mount Vernon.

Good looking train. Never have had an opportunity to ride a Viewliner - anybody know how they are as a ride?  In comparison, say, to a 10-6 or 11-br "Heritage" car in good shape, or a Superliner.

A couple more pix of Tuesday's Silver Star...these taken at Norwood PA.  A shutter of 1/1500 was just enough to freeze the Star in its tracks...

Some days, the most interesting person you meet is a river with a train running beside it.
