Back to the east coast. Here we have Amtrak Train #53, the Auto Train, southbound at Woodbridge, VA on 8/18/13 at 1603Hrs after an on time departure from Lorton, VA. Is this the longest train Amtrak runs in regular service?

A late running Amtrak P077-09 had 2 locomotives as it passed a coal train at CA23 on the Peninsula Sub. I later found out the reason was so #513 could pull a broken #195 as train P950 back to Washington DC. 11/9/13

You're not alone... through all my dealings with doing research on passenger cars I had never seen the "Game" graphics before myself.  I guess that it has been overshadowed by the Heritage schemes but its one I am glad to learn about!!!

The snow is getting deeper for Amtrak train #67 as it heads east to Newport News, VA. Seen here at CA19 on the CSX Peninsula Sub. Between Richmond, VA and Newport News the snow went from 1" to 7".

Snow greeted the Auto Train passengers to VA on 2/25/14. Amtrak #508 was seen switching the auto carriers into position for unloading as the flakes fell.

Amtrak #200, a P42DC is westbound on CSX's Peninsula Sub passing one of the few remaining ex-C&O signals, this one at CA14.1.

CSX calls this train P066-27. Sharp eyes will note the signal is not the only vintage item in the photo.

Here it is a few miles down the track. Passenger trains on this stretch of track are allowed 79MPH and I would guess it was close to that speed when it went by.

Looks like they have to make a backing movement for the stop. That sort of thing tends to slow the schedule a bit, doesn't it?
