Matt,

There is a very good website that has pictures of almost every Amtrak station in the country, except for the Northeast which is still being compiled.  You can search for each station alphabetically or once you've picked a station then you can follow the route of a train moving station by station.

Most stations listed have shots of both the building and the tracks.  Some even have interior shots.

You can find this site Amtrak Station Search by clicking here.

Now taht site on Amtrak stations is great, and an obvious labor of love.

I see that when tehy pulled out of the old SP station in San Antonio, they built a decent looking station instead of an ugly AMSHACK like the one in Houston. And the less said about Beaumont, the better.  Not in a great part of town, either - I wouldn't care to leave a car parked there while I was on a trip, or have my wife waiting for a delayed train there.

The new station in Fort Worth is great, not only new, but nice. Dalals Union Station, also used by TRE and DART is nice facility, if far from what it was when I was a kid and riding the trains up from (or down to) Houston.

Here is a shot of Toledo Union Station... from the platform obviously!  This is the last Pennsylvanian into TUS taken last year.  The main area of the station is off to the right of the train, which is sitting on track 3.  The main Amtrak lobby is on the bottom floor and a Grayhound Bus station is on the second floor (there is a road to both station entrances).

Great shots fellas.

Paul, Coaster, has posted several shots of California stations, most are now Amtrak stations, Metrolink stations and some still are not in service, but they might be in the future.

Another site that covers all stations is the Railroad Station Historical Society.

  Their site is   www.rrshs.org

I took these pics today at Kingston Station, the oldest operating station (although they did move the station back from it's origional location)

Southbound view of the station from the Rt 138 overpass with train 165 departing.

Southbound Acela #2259 screaming through Kingston Station, probally about 135MPH.

Trackside view of Kingston Station.

The orlando station still looks like that.  Its a little more run down, but pretty much the same.
