Here are some pictures I took on my way to work   I took them all at 5 megapixels (2592 x 1944), but reduced and cropped for the forum.

Here Train 170 Northbound in Slocum, RI on Friday July 23rd.  The speed limit for the Acela is 150MPH through here.

Acela Express 2253 Southbound at the closed Wolf Rocks Rd. Crossing on the South Kingstow/Exeter Line, just north of Kingston Station.  Picture was taken on Sunday July 18th.

Three images taken in Toronto. First is of Toronto Union Station. Second is the departing Maple Leaf picking up speed just out of the station. Third is of the lead engine that day.
Out of five folls of film, those are the only ones that came out for me!

Great pix folks...

Anybody know if Amtrak AEM-7 #911 is still in Northeast Direct scheme?  And will she be getting some kind of memorial "Nine-Eleven" scheme?

Some days, the most interesting person you meet is a river with a train running beside it.

No Problem.  I saw her Yesterday (Sunday).  She was the only one at Union Station that I saw with that paint scheme.  I agree, they look better.  I think the silver sides of the new scheme is too blah.  But, then again, They aren't probally painted to look good.

After an unsuccessful bid to chase down a rail grinder on former Reading trackage near Park Jct...I consoled myself with this shot of an Acela trainset crossing the Pennsy's Schuylkill River Bridge.

Here are some pics that I took yesterday in the Kingston, RI area.  I did notice a higher number of HHP-8's.  We usually get mostly toasters up this way.
