This successful short line which operates x-PRR/PC/CR/NS trackage south of Altoona,PA., has rebuilt this doughty 2-6-0 to pull its passenger excursions.
In service since 2015, the excursion business has grown, with longer runs started this year.
I visited last November, and also stopped by on 10/15/2016, when the RR was running Pumpkin Patch specials on a 5-mile section of line.
The Everett has built a station, parking lot, and restrooms on the south side of Hollidaysburg yard. There was a total of 4 trains on this day, all powered by #11.

One of the better spots is on Monastery RD. at a place the RR calls Kladder.
The Pumpkin Patch trains would stop just beyond the crossing, the kiddies would unload and claim their pumpkin, pose for pics, and then the train would reverse to Hollidaysburg.

I caught the final 2 runs of these trains this day, and I highly recommend a visit to the Everett, their excursion schedule is on their website and facebook.

Here is #11 pushing the train in reverse at Loop Rd. crossing, about 2 miles from Hollidaysburg station.

Hopefully next year there will be more longer trips to Roaring Springs and Martinsburg, where there are steep grades and tight curves.
