This past summer I took a ride on the Saratoga and North Creek, it was probably one of the most scenic railroads I have ridden. There is something to be said for a railroad that adheres to a time table with flag stops and smaller stations in between the main points of travel, a flash of history I have not seen elsewhere.

I took two videos of the Railway: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9aRTeB3TpE&feature=plcp

The railway runs on a reduced schedule Tuesday through Thursday, on Thursday I took this video the the train making its way into North Creek and switching out passenger cars at the station. The conductor that day, whom I hadn't met formally was more then kind enough to try and explain the procedures that day. This truly is a great railroad for Railfans to visit!
