Here's my favorite part of the day the LIRR engineer was extramly nice and let me up in the cab to blow the horn and watch the tracks until we got to my stop. He also pointed ot some golf ball that were on the track

I was browsing around railswap and found this...
I find it interesting, I have a feeling one of the larger railroads like the A&M will do it, But there are ton's of railroads that can.

Hi Anthony,

Great pics and thanks for the update. I am one of the "Friends of # 35" and it is my understanding that # 39 will be back on the rails before # 35 makes it. Either way it should be interesting, especially when and if they are eventually double headed on an excursion trip.

Ok guys, I just got back from the RR museumís Circus Theme festival and had a great time!

I also joined the RR museum so Iím now a Student member of the RR museum of Long Island and Iíll be able to run some of the model RR displays on the weekends so I hope to bring some of my engines to run as well. But that only sour part of the day was the LIRR was closed today so we could not ride. They are replacing a bridge so the mainline is shutdown but it was still a great day

Here are some cars sitting next to the LIRR tracks. If you notice the yellow car, that is a repainted baggage car. For some reason they pained it like a circus car when it was previously a LIRR car. Not sure why.  2
