No problem. If you need any other photography tips just ask. Or you could ask in the Photography board.

Cool pictures. Another photography trick I forgot to tell you is when there's snow on the ground, put your ISO to the lowest setting. Sorry for not telling you that.

HERE IS SOME NEW THINGS GOING ON AT THE RAILROAD MUSEUM I'M VERY PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE

Lecture - Atlantic Avenue Tunnel

The Trustees of the Railroad Museum of Long Island are proud to host an informational lecture by Mr. Bob Diamond, president of the Brooklyn Historic Railway Association; along with a video documentary by Long Island Oddities Editor and television producer, Mr. John Leita, related to "The Abandoned Long Island Railroad ~ Atlantic Avenue (Cobble Hill) Tunnel, Brooklyn, NY." This program will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the Suffolk County Historical Society education hall, 300 West Main Street, (across from the Riverhead Public Library), Riverhead, NY. Ample municipal parking is available in the courthouse parking area, Osborne and Court Streets - behind the Historical Society building.

Please join us to explore this long-forgotten western terminus of the Long Island Railroad mainline to Greenport. In 1979, as an engineering student, Mr. Diamond rediscovered and opened the abandoned tunnel. Leading from the shore of the East River, this tunnel was the outset for wealthy New Yorkers to journey to Boston in the mid 1800ís via Greenport and Stonington, Connecticut.

Admission is FREE and open to the public. Information tables for the Railroad Museum of Long Island, the Brooklyn Historic Railway Association and Long Island Oddities will be available.

See us on the web at www.brooklynrail.net/index.html and www.lioddities.com

GREAT NEWS EVERYONE. I just found out that the LIRR dropped off 4 new cars for us, 2 old electric cars M-1s and 2 coaches that look like the ones we have. I have not gotten a chance to get out to Riverhead for pictures so here are some I found of the M-1s. These are from the LIRR fourum. There are more M-1 pics beacuse they have been retired on long island †and many thought there were none left but RMLI got the last 2. They look like they are in great shape. I hope I can say the same for the coaches.

Donít worry, I personally repainted these cars the second week they were there. You could only see it at Riverhead for one week
