Hi All,

Nice to know that at least one of the LIRR/ PRR G-5s's are in an advanced stage of restoration. It is also nice to know that there are others, besides the fellas at Oyster Bay, interested in a RR museum on the Island. Please keep us informed of their progress and their situation. The fellas in Oyster Bay are making progress, slowly, but they are making progress.

Matt- I will be more than happy to get pics of that I plan to take at lesat 50 pics and I'm going to the L.I. live steamers next mouth. No. 35 is being restored in Oyster Bay where in 2008 a brand new museum is planed to be built with a operating turntable . I was just talking to my mom about the restoration and I said if Strasburg did it it would be done. I'm also thinking about joining the restoration crew I just have to ask my dad ,so if I do join I'll get us informed..........Boy I can't wait for them to finish I'd be their every weekend
