The NDCR d/b/a Northampton Switching Company in Northampton ,Pa. operates two Alco S6 switchers #101 and #51. They also have a former CNJ RS3 now re-engined as RS3m #99. I have pictures but I need a new scanner.

I think this is the only Alco in my area:
http://www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php?ids=32748,36092,36141,65228,66226,71746

It operates on excursion trains every weekend from May to December.

The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad operates quite a few ALCO's.  Here's a link to their roster page with photos.

Hi All,

Per my post on Cab Rides, I got to ride in the cab of an Alco RSD-1, # 1956 at the Perris Trolley and RR museum, Perris, CA.  It is routinely used for excursions there.

No, a CF7 is an EMD F-unit that was rebuilt by the AT&SF with a frame like a GP.

No, but must've been the awkward boxy look that threw you off.

Don't flame me, Alco fans, I think you're big enough to take a joke.  Or perhaps I should be more worried about the CF7 fans...they're a rowdy bunch they are.
