Cool pictures. I really like the SD40's. It's ashame people grafiti railroad equempment like that. I'm going to have to come up some day. Maybe in a few years. huhhhh.

It sure is a shame. And not to be mean but they are ex LIRR GP-30s not SD 40s. They are very similar

Minor correction guys, NY&A #270 & #271 are GP38-2s.

All the way at the end of the yard, were it stopped and the crew had a lunch brake and cam over to the museum were we talked for a little while

Go to your menu stettings in your camera and try to find the ISO metter. Once you find that, put it on 100. You never want it over 200 while it's light out. And if you put it on 0, the picture will be a little dark. Not much, but still. Plus, don't shoot towards the sun. Always away or some angle that the sun won't be bright. And when your outside, keep the flash off. Unless if it's dark. But even then sometimes you don't need it. Hope this helps.
